Coffee machines for offices

Office coffee is not a perk, it is time economics. A trip to the café round the corner costs a team far more than the 5 minutes of walking.

20minutes to get back on task

What hurts — and how Optima solves it

The team leaves for coffee and comes back half an hour later.
Coffee a few steps away

A machine in the office removes the trip itself. The twenty minutes the industry reckons it takes to get back on task after an interruption stay inside the working day.

A domestic machine breaks in its third month of office duty.
Equipment built for the volume

The A300 delivers up to 120 cups a day, the A400 up to 200. That is a commercial duty rating, not a household one: dozens of cycles a day for years, rather than a few cups.

Everyone drinks something different — espresso, latte, cocoa.
A menu for the whole team

FoamMaster makes the milk drinks without a barista, and the recipes live in the machine. Hot chocolate and tea come from the same place; no second appliance.

Everyone uses the machine and nobody looks after it.
Upkeep without an owner

The cleaning cycle is automatic and the prompts appear on screen. Confirming the start once a day is the whole job — no designated "coffee person" required.

Scenario

A 60-person office: an A400 with FoamMaster in the kitchen covers espresso, latte and cocoa, automatic cleaning settles the upkeep question, and telemetry shows bean consumption.

Which machine suits an office

Size it on headcount and a couple of cups per person per day. Up to 120 cups is the A300; up to 200, the A400 or A600. For higher daily volume, consider the A800, rated for up to 250 cups. Also account for peak demand and the drinks mix. Buy headroom: a machine permanently at its limit wears faster and spends more time being repaired.

Buy or rent

For an office, rental or a subscription often makes more sense than buying: the equipment stays off your balance sheet and service is already included. Buying wins when the machine stays for years and the volume is predictable. We will cost both against your numbers.
